Questions and answers of the customers

  1. A Tastes way better, not thick like the pre-made. I use 2 scoops & filtered water and it tastes great like a cup of cooled hot cocoa. I'll never go back to the pre-made drinks unless i have to.
  2. A There is milk protein in it. But since this is a powder you a make it with water
  3. A My honest answer is that the only thing that helps with weight gain is knowing what causes it for each person and addressing that cause. There is no easy fix or easy answer. I have read reviews that say because of the protein in Muscle Milk, it has helped with cravings, which in turn helps people avoid eating a lot of “bad “ food. To that extent it does help with weight gain. I know for me it did help me to avoid eating inappropriate and empty calorie foods.
  4. A If there are no symbols, then it's probably not.
  5. A Listen man, the answer is do the math! What do I mean by that? Well, how much do you weight for starters? Then multiply your weight by .36 to find out how much grams of protein you need by day.If you weight right now between 140 and 160 you could easily take 4 scoops a long a day. Yet, if your trying to improve your body by weight lifting NOT cardio LIFTINF WEIGHTS then you can probably take more than 4 scoops a day.
  6. A I use it with coffee and almond milk
  7. A Can someone confirm if this is lactose free? It’s not labeled as such unlike the liquid ones
  8. A 2grams are from sugar. The other carbs do break down in the body as Sugar, as all carbohydrates do. If you want to learn more about nutrition, you'll want to study it. Or ask a nutritionist or other professional who has studied food facts and how it works with the body.
  9. A It's up to the seller whether or not to offer EBT as a payment source. Amazon does not accept EBT for this item but does for others. There's usually a disclaimer if they don't. Just read the listing closely for each item.
  10. A The nutrition label is on the jug.
  11. A It should be, they both have nutrition labels which is required for food assistance. Perhaps because its a "Cadillac" version of their normal offering and EBT considers it an extravagance.
  12. A Its good for muscle gain and weight lose when paired with a schedule of regular exercise. Maybe 30 mins every other day, doing just that 30 mins every other day has a dramatic change on your metabolism. Not just 30 mins of walking, but brisk walking, almost a jog. Or 30 mins of tossing around a few hand weights or a barbell. Good ranges of movement with things that make you have to exert or require effort, get the heart pumping and cause you to breath heavy =)
  13. A Yes, the Pro Series is a weight gain drink. Other types of Muscle Milk are less so.
  14. A I am lactose intolerant and this is the only protein powder i will use.
  15. A I think it is a 2.54 as it says in the description.
  16. A I'm lactose-intolerant and I still use Muscle Milk. They have filtered the lactose and fat. Nestle had opened a lawsuit for them incorrectly marketing themselves as 'Milk' when they were dairy free.'While the beverage contains proteins derived from milk — like whey — it is considered nondairy because the lactose and fat have been filtered from those proteins. Muscle Milk markets itself as lactose-free, but is required by the F.D.A. to say on its label that it contains ingredients “derived from milk.”'Source: NY Times - https://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/27/business/media/27adco.html
  17. A I don't see a OU symbol any where on the label container.
  18. A It's actually better with milk. 2 scoops, 16oz 2% milk, blender. Pour half glass and add milk to taste. Makes a good 2 full glasses. This will add more protein. I used after a hard workout, got great results. I have high metabolism, so be sure to monitor.
  19. A You can look this up on Amazon. Pull up the product and click on the ingredients panel. Or just Google up “does Muscle Milk contain sucralose or are stevia?”
  20. A I use only the Muscle Milk Intense Vanilla, 50gram protein powder in 2.54. pound. This product's protein source is milk protein, whey protein. I seem that in the vanilla flavor is only milk protein based. Sorry, I do not like anything chocolate flavored.
  21. A Yes it does come with a scoop. The ratio of powder is 4 scoops to 2 cups of h2o. But you can vary it depending on the type of workout you are doing. Then, also you could mix 50/50 water and almond milk and the flavor is just very good. The best part it's backed up by the NSF national science foundation.
  22. A yes, Sucralose is listed in the ingredients
  23. A While Muscle Milk does not currently make gluten-free label claims, none of the ingredients in Muscle Milk Pro Series Protein Powder are derived from grains or flours that have been linked to gluten sensitivity.
  24. A I have noticed that several things I have purchased on Amazon in the past cost more now.......this is not an answer but a comment.
  25. A GREAT
  26. A Yes. I mix MM, water or milk, I banana, peanut butter w/ Choco! Yum. Vanilla with fruit. Before work out &/or after. All good!.
  27. A No it has an excellent taste - make sure you mix it in your blender on high for at least 30 seconds.
