Questions and answers of the customers

  1. A Hi Gil, There were some minor changes on this product. Maca is no longer used in this formulation. Thank you, Takumi KawakatsuVega Education Specialist
  2. A The tropical flavor tastes like the old "Tang" drink. It doesn't really lend its self to mixing with fruit, but if you were going to mix it, I'd say to use Lemon, mango, pineapple, or papaya.
  3. A I'm not I'm qualified to answer your question but I would say it's based on the individual. I used the whole scoop and it worked. My wife did not and she felt it worked as well. You'll just have to try and see.
  4. A I always bought the vanilla flavor and was very satisfied. I also use Plantfusion vanilla bean, also very good. I'm not a fan of any berry flavor, I prefer to add fresh berries to the vanilla. It's really very good. The vanilla is NOT overpowering...
  5. A The label says 20 servings. So for me this is a one month supply. Workout 5 times a week for 4 weeks = 20 servings. If you price out the competition this is just a hair more expensive. But this recovery drink REALLY works and tastes great!
  6. A Hi there, Thanks for reaching out. Vega Sport recovery contains 4g of protein per serving. I hope this helps! In Health, Julie Zeitlhuber, MSc.Education Specialist
  7. A Hey there, you may ahve found the answer to your question already but I believe Vega test results come up very clean. Hope this helps. http://www.naturalnews.com/044136_vega_protein_heavy_metals_limits_natural_products.html
  8. A Tropical without a doubt. It is light and refreshing. The Apple Berry tastes good, but feels more heavy.
  9. A I don't think so. I use it after a long run to replenish or recover. I don't use it as a meal replacement. Hope that helps!
  10. A Carol- Good question, the products can become confusing. We use the protein within 30 minutes of a hard workout (2+ hours). We ALWAYS use the recovery drink after every workout, immediately. We trained for an ironman this year and there were three times I did not have my recovery accelerator and I was sore the next day, all three times. The recovery accelerator is worth it's weight in gold. Drink it quickly, as soon as you finish your workout. Then within the 30 minute window replenish with the protein drink. I must admit, I never liked the taste of any of the flavors offered of the accelerator, I actually dislike them. I still drank them because they were that helpful. Hope that helped!
  11. A I've seen nothing to indicate it has caffeine. It has a little sugar, although that should wear off quickly. If you worked out close to bedtime, then that could easily account for trouble sleeping. Otherwise, I couldn't say, except that the ingredients (specifically the B vitamins and related, are intended in part to help you recover energy, so it may have worked very well for you, but you may need to alter your exercise schedule.
  12. A There are 20 servings per container. It should last for about a month, but it all depends on how frequently you want to use it.
  13. A Very good question. I don't see it on the individual packet I have on mine. It does says inform choice.org approved and tested for WADA-banned substances. It was made in Canada and there is a vegasport.com where you could probably look it up. It is distrubuted by Sequel Naturals Ltd. There is no symbol or notation on the packaging saying it is GMO free, so with all that data, I'm hoping you can find out or it somehow answers it for you.
  14. A I have the Tropical flavored Recovery powder. No bcca's or caffeine.
  15. A Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help. According to the Vega company, this item can be used to reduce recovery time between workouts and help to restore energy and boost immunity. You can mix this item with water, aside from the protein, to take the item. It is not suggested in the directions to combine it with the protein powder in one beverage. We hope this information is helpful! If we can assist you further, please feel free to contact us directly through Amazon. Jenna G. Swanson Health Products
  16. A I wouldn’t think so. It’s for rebuilding your muscles after extreme exercise. A train aid.
  17. A Ive done that a few times with the mocha protein and this but i always blend mine with water and ice so it makes it more smoothie like. Banana added to this one wont hurt it. Just add more of a fruity taste and some calories.
  18. A What would you want guaranteed?
  19. A Sure is
  20. A Hi Abigail,Sounds like we may have a few different products that would be a great fit for you.
