Has anyone actually counted scoops as you were using the product ??? well, i did ...... 78 level scoops in the tub ... not 100 !!!!!Back to product

  1. Aaron, I was going to answer the email you sent but since you posted here as well, I felt it would be more appropriate to answer your question here. First, we do our absolute best to make sure we convert weight of a product to scoops but there is a lot of variability in scoop weights. We we sell the product based on weight. We have no variance in the weight; you purchased 7lbs of product and you received 7lbs of product. The variance in the weight has to do with a number of factors; how packed the product is in the container and how packed the product is in the scoop. When we take our product weights, we take them when the product is loose in the container; sometimes just shaking the container will accomplish this. When we measure a scoop weight, we are very careful to not touch the sides of the container (to prevent packing the powder into the scoop). We then weigh out about 100 scoops and use pretty basic statistics to determine the weights we place on the label for scoop weights. I do apologize you counted these out and only received 78 scoops but I wanted you to understand how we come up with the weights, why you might see variance and more importantly understand that we sell the product by weight not by scoops.
