Questions and answers of the customers
- A Ingredients: Goat whey protein concentrate, Sunflower lecithin. It also says Gluten free, Non-GMO, Non-Denatured. May contain trace amounts of cow milk. Packaged in plant that handles, stores, and processes milk, egg, soy and wheat.
- A It does not say if it is pasteurized or that it is organic. It has no soy inn it and is GF
- A It does not say on the label. So, here's their website www.teraswhey.com or call them at 1-888-292-7408. I have really been pleased with its taste and digestability.
- Q is this organic, grass fed? and does it have the same properties for glutahione benefit as in dairy?A I think it is organic and grass fed....has better benefits and is more beneficial than cow's whey. It is the finest whey around.
- A Label doesn't list it as ingredient...only goat whey protein and sunflower lecithin, but does say "may contain trace amounts of cow's milk. Packaged in a plant that handles, stores and processes milk, egg, soy and wheat
- A The ingredients on the container read: Goat whey protein concentrate. Sunflower lecithin. Contains goat milk. Gluten free, non GMO.May contain trace amounts of cow milk. Packaged in a plant that handles, stores, and processes milk, egg, soy, and wheat. Hope that helps.
- A Pasteurized
- A In a 12oz container there are 12 servings. There are 2 scoops (28.4g) per serving.
- A My container (purchased from Whole Foods, not Amazon) says Sunflower Lecithin.
- A It does taste like goat milk or cheese.
- A That’s a question for the manufacturers
- A Oh, and I also mix it in with my oatmeal sometimes. I find it really easy to eat.
- A "Grass fed" refers to what an animal has eaten. Cows and goats and other animals all eat grass. "Grass fed" does not refer only to cows--why should it? This is goat whey from grass-fed goats, i.e. the goats ate grass.
- A I don’t
- A Read label and does not specify grass or grain fed. Goats usually grass fed but need to ask manufacturer
- A It's hard to say as I mix it with coconut milk so that may change my perception. I'd say potato-level. And if this helps for a frame of reference, I don't eat much sugar (I'm a nutritionist!) and therefore don't like sweet things. In any case, this powder is delicious-I highly recommend it!!
- A Hi Sabina - no, the goat why is not organic; however, it is only from goats. I do know that the company does not use any kind of antibiotics or growth hormone, etc. I have used many of the products. I will give you a suggestion also - if you go to teraswhey.com, you can look at labels of everything. This company is in WI and probably about a one hour drive from my home. The cows and goats live on family run farms. Hope that helps! If I can be of further assistance, please let me know!
- A I have not used it in hot foods but would not hesitate to. The key to any powdered whey, I have found, is that it have enough other stuff so it can adequately dissolve. I use it in homemade yogurt, smoothies, homemade puddings, sauces, anything I can think of. I think you'd be fine. You can contact the company, they are very responsive, and make sure that the integrity of the protein would not be broken down by heating.
- A That's a very good question. I would suggest that you contact them at www.teraswhey.com or write to them at Wisconsin Specialty Protein, Reedsburg, WI 53959 or call at 1-888-292-7408.
- A Hi Staurt. I don't have a can with me right now but this is derived from goat milk which most people have no problem with. I am lactose intolerant and have had no problems. I do recommend the website to people where you can find additional information - www.teraswhey.com I hope that is helpful.
